Unfortunatly I know exactally what this is...it is a one way connection utilizing a highspeed pull from the dish and then requires a landline to upload...the problem with this kind of system is that not only is you upload speed limited to 56k or DSL but a percentage of the speed is used up trying to sync data...if you ask me this route is almost usless because the main route for wireless would be to get into areas that dont have existing broadband capabilities. A few years back I worked with a company(Intellicom I think) that actually had a totally Dish solution utilizing a 3ft dish with a 1/4 watt transmitter capable of 1 m/s transfer rates but at the time it was cost prohibitive, now I can not even find the technology anymore...ah well the search continues.
