Seek and you shall find!
A colleague has shown me that by searching the 'Entire collection' of Visual Studio Help instead of just the VFP help, there is a document called Windows Controls which contains more details on the TreeView control.

I usually have the help restricted to VFP to reduce the clutter but I guess some times it's worth it to find the "gems"
