I'd think that this could be done but I can see two sides.

One is the side where there are folks who would like to "opt out" of receiving messages like these. Ed Rauh comes to mond for instance. Perhaps Michel can program an option where folks like Ed can flip a switch (his choice) to receive or not receive "forwards."

Secondly, would be those who somehow think that what they have to type is important enough to pass along to everyone. Personally I don't see too many cases where this choice should be used. Still, I think we should trust people to be responsible with this option, not crab (yell) at them because they make a novice's error and overuse the priviledge.

In my mind it comes down to personal responsibility - and each of us helping the others to create and maintain a high standard of responsibility.

I say keep the ability, hold people to a high standard, help educate them n as friendly a manner as possible to 'get' the rules, and give those who really really would prefer to 'opt out' that capability.

In some 15 years of being online I've seen few issues that really matter go by without most folks who care finding out about it. Extra messages do not help much, if at all.
