You need to select your grid, Edit it, and then select the Combo/Listbox control in Form Controls toolbar and click on the desired column in the grid. The control will be added there. You cannot drag and drop the control to the grid column from the Project Manager.
Then, you may delete the default textbox from the column by selecting it in top combobox of the Property Sheet, then click on Form Designer title bar (not in the form itself) and press the Del key. You may also leave the default textbox in the column if you wish, then you need to choose the desired control in your Column.CurrentControl property.
