The Satan I was referring to was the team that won the Stanley Cup this year - the New Jersey Devils. Last year, the Dallas Stars won the Cup by beating the Buffalo Sabres who have a player on their team named Miroslav Satan. He is [I believe] a Russian-born player whose last name is pronounced Shu-tan. Of course being such refined and upstanding fans of the Stars, we never made fun of 3 of their [Sabres] players -- Shmelnik, Zhitnik and Satan -- by saying anything like, "Hey Shu-tan, you Shmelnik like Zhitnik!"
