Frankly, I always have my doubts about men who use the word "scent". I can't remember when the last time I used it. Smell is a different story. Ever hear a guy say, "I like the scent of that aftershave"? I've never said it or heard another guy say it. "I like the way that aftershaves smells" is what I'd say.
