The method you are using works fine on my Win98 machine, and my printer names have spaces.

I was able to get the error you described--by selecting the Acrobat PDF Print driver and then pressing CANCEL when it prompted me for a file name to print to. That would indeed cause a printer driver error.

Could the error message actually be correct? Maybe there is actually a problem with the driver (image that *g*). Does it work correctly on that machine with:

report form test to printer PROMPT noconsole ?

Have you rebooted the machine? (Dilbert advice...no, he would tell you to 'Shut Up' first) No offense intended here, I'm sure you have rebooted :)

You might need to reload print driver. Or, if you are using the official HP driver, use the MS version that came with Win95/98.
