Have you considered other ones? Maybe other companies (LG, Samsung etc.) can deliver. Maybe a longshot because the other ones may have the same problem, but maybe worth a try. Maybe you'll have a good chance with a Taiwanese or Korean company.

Btw, I think it's underestemated what you could do with with PDA's especially now they go to wireless access with the internet like the palm VII.
