Yes! The only thing that kept me awake was watching the co-eds!
My funniest story of playing boredom.... I played for a little band that did the national guard amory on Saturday night... mostly country and some square dance. Now there is nothing more boring for a bass player than squared dance. Like you said... the same 4 - 6 notes over and over and over and over and over...well you get the picture. I was told... by other band members that one night I actually fell asleep...AND NEVER MISSED A BEAT!
