It is interesting that the original post indicates that a hardware light turns red. This would point to some difference between the HP 6 printers. Possibly HP has documented some meaning to the red light, like memory overflow ?

Do the printers have exactly the same amount of memory for laying out the page ?

Does anything print on the boss's printer, e.g. Word documents or Excell spreadsheets, or is it only Visual Foxpro that has problems ?
