Dear Everyone --

While working with SCX based forms I have noticed that there are times when an SCX form is running, but from debugger or running code that you cannot get a reference to the form. From the command window this is never a problem.

For example:

The code says at some point ... DO FORM MyForm.SCX

Later on the code says ... MyForm.Release() (perhaps as code on a click event of a button)

Fox cannot find the reference to "MyForm" and reports an error, even though the form is on the screen where it is clearly seen. If I issue a suspend somewhere around the call for the release() and look in the debugger, I do NOT see a reference for the open and running SCX form.

Anyone know why this happens?

Thanks in advance.
