I am using an application built in FoxPro 2.6 DOS & Windows.
You can run it either way. In DOS this problem does not seem
to exists as much as it does in Windows. This application is run on a Novell 3.12 network and the work stations are running Windows 95 with
the Windows client.
The problem: At random times a person may receive a error :
"The file you are attmepting to access is locked at another
workstation. Press any key to retry or F2 to abort" upon retrying usually the person has access to the table and can proceed. If they
press F2 they produce an error in error log which can be read
It does not happen at any specific time, person or table.
Is this typical behavor for FoxPro 2.6 on a Novell 3.12 Network?
Question 2
Is there any palce to get a hands on developers course in VPF 5?
