Indeed. Have you been to Texas? I had a chap in a bar in Houston tell me how hard he'd worked to remove his southern accent. He sounded downright proud too! But to me he sounded just like the others, ROFL! BTW no offence to lurkers here :-)

I didn't have the guts to tell him though, since he had his "conflict resolution device" (that's deeeevice) out back; and I'm not kiddin'.
