Hi All,

I have a strange thing happening in this week in one of my Windows NT 4.0 server. I have the data (VFP database) from this server but the programs are in users local hard disk. Around 10/12 users work simultaneously using this program. In this week, frequently the programs produce error "Error reading file" and after that, that user can do nothing but exit the program. At this time if I check thru the server manager, it shows open files in the range of 408, 424 etc. That user has to wait till someone else exit and close some files.

Is this something to do with file handles we used to have in DOS before? I checked config.sys etc. but it was showing FILES=20 which was completely different.

Any help would be appreciated.
