>I didn't even think you could have any UI with a VFP COM object (EXE or DLL). I've tried and I can't make it happen. Or am I just missing something?

You can have UI on a VFP out-oif-process server (.EXE) - it simply can't interact with the client session. You coukd easily have a server with a monitor screen, or even a live application up and running, at the same time it published a COM interface as an out-of-process server. THe no UI is a limit of .DLL servers.
