I have a very restricted app in mind. Each user would have no problem with having VFP runtime and IE5 locally resident (or any other support file for that matter) It's a select audience with all client-side software supplied on CD. I would like them to run a VFP Active Doc from the Web server that accesses data on the Web server.

Is it possible to map the internet server as a drive and reference the drive in the VFP Active Doc when it accesses a DBF? I know this could be a bit slow but we might be able to live with it.

Any comments or alternate suggestions? Active Docs seem to have great potential but they are also sorta like an orphan child. I can see intranets as being a little more suitable home.

Thanks,
Allen
