If the description for each line is visible on every line, seems to me it would make the grid unreadable if they enter a lot of information in each record's memo field. Do the users have to see the description for every other line while they're working on one line?
If not, move the edit box out of the grid onto the grid's parent object and refresh it in the grid.AfterRowColChange() event.
