I don't think we have a FAQ on this one. But, we certainly have discussed this at several occasions.

Microsoft has also released a document a while ago to help people to choose the appropriate development environment depending on the needs. However, I don't think you'll find a document that explains what a development environemnt can't do but instead what it can.
