Once the focus is switched to the menu, the control that called it is not available until the menu is released.

However, you can pass an object reference into the menu.

1. Modify the menu.
   
2. While in the menu designer, open the View menu in the main VFP menu bar and select General Options.
   
3. In the dialog that comes up check the box marked Setup. A window will pop up behind this dialog. Close the dialog, but leave the window open.
