>Does anyone know of a fairly simple way to get all the tags for all tables within a given directory. I'm guessing that the easiest way to is get all the table names and scan through them, but can you get all the tags from a table's CDX file. I need this info for a reindex function.

Well, TAGCOUNT() tells you how many, TAGNO(i) gives you the name for the ith TAG, KEY(i) gives you the Key expression for the ith tag...hmmm, sounds like it's time to dig out either a copy of the Hacker's Guide, or open the OnLine docs and follow the hyperlinks to get what you need. It's all right there in the docs.
