If you don't have string pathing or hooks or something, just try creating a new clean project. It will pull just about everything in on a build, and you can set the old project side-by-side to verify a few odds and ends are added, and Project Info stuff. When you are satisfied all is perfect, rename the new project so you get your automatic EXE build-naming back.

Basically, projects are lightweight and disposable (or should be), usually, since they get corrupted occasionally. I've had to do this several times over the years.
