Hi Terence,

As I found out recently at a client, CD-based products usually rely on either talking to the CD drivers directly or on the Volume Label of the drive being read.

If your case is the first one, you're stuck. If it relies on volume label, one way to get around it would be to create a partition that's the same size as the CD and LABEL it with the same name as the CD's label and then copying the contents of the cd there.
