You can keep the form's modeless, that's not what I meant. Option 1B describes how to implement this by reinitializing (overwriting) the global oUser object every time a form is instantiated. So there is only 1 oUser object active and no changes need to be done to the control classes because they will continue to make calls to oUser.
Yes I would recommend waiting if you have the time. VMP 5 is in beta and looks to be released in mid-September. The upgrade price is $149 US if you have any previous version of VMP. If you bought 4.0 after June 15th, you can get an upgrade at no charge.
