What do you mean by autoscroll? If it's dragging the thumb, the current selected record does NOT stay in view. I'm not sure exactly what you mean.

SET FILTER TO in your button may not be turning the filter off the control source of the grid. Do a SELECT of the grid's recordsource first before you do the SET FILTER TO.
