I have created a little dll wich connect to a database to get data. I have install that dll in COM+ (I have created an application and I have created a component).

I have two questions.

1. It is very slow, it takes about 10 seconds to get the data. Why.

2. For testing purpose I am using a form which has a button. When I click the button the first time it take time to get the data (question 1) and the second time I get an error saying

"Unable to complet network request to host "hostname". Failed to established a connection. Unknow Win32 error 10061."

When I clicked Ok the data appears. What is the problem here?


NOTE: The DLL is a DCOM EXE that I have converted to use in COM+. The DCOM way work fine and it is pretty fast comparing to COM+. It is supposed to be the other way is'n it?
