Local hard disk on a P3 450.
I believe that it is compacted but I know very little about Access.
I looked at one of the other exported tables. It converted long integers into large numeric fields. Since it was appropriate given the nature of the data, I changed these to integer fields which, naturally, shrunk the tables to a fraction of their original size. I suppose that may be a clue.
>Allrighty then.... the next obvious question... Is this on a local hard disk or over a network?
