The CryptoAPI is not the NT Security model; Try looking up Platform SDK - Security in the MSDN Library Contents.

Paul Tatavu has an ActiveX control he's developed that works with VFP to access some of the NT security APIs. Try dropping him a line.

ADSI has a very complete access to the security model for NT, Win2K and NetWare; it requires installation of the necessary client and server components. The WMI extends that. I'd reccommend the sites in my sig block for ADSI/WMI and scripting-based security topics as a starting place. The Win32 Scripting Journal covers it in detail monthly, and the subscription cost, which includes access to the entire back issue library, is well worth the investment.
