Just a quick note to thank you Roxanne, Kevin, Dustin, and Dave for your patience and suggestions.

I couldn't change all my existing bizobjs just yet (I'll get to it, don't worry), but I just had an opportunity to create a couple of new ones and it DOES feel better and more natural to set my parameters within the bizobj's postinithook and have them point to properties belonging to THIS object.
