Ron,
Where did the error occur? It sounds like you don't have the Type Library DLL registered. Look for Tlbinf32.DLL in your System or System32 directory. This may only install with VB, I'm not sure.

As for the help file, the full help is an option when you install Notes. It is over 20MB so sometimes the Notes Lite Help is installed instead. My suggestion would be access the Notes server. In the past, I have installed it on the server so everyone had access to it but it didn't take up the space on the local systems. As a developer, you will want access to this all the time so I would make a copy of it on your local system: File - Database - Copy (I think; don't have it open right now). If that doesn't work, save the Notes.ini file in your Windows directory and re-install Notes. Get the CDs and install Notes again. Select Custom and only install the Full help and Notes executable (no databases or templates). Open Notes again once you're done. If there is aproblem like it trys to reinitialize everything, close it without doing anything and copy the saved Notes.ini file back into the Windows directory. This should restore all your settings.

Good luck!
