I am trying to determine if a field in a table is truly empty. What I mean by that is a blank record has been appended, but no data has been entered, replaced, or inserted. My test is on a numeric field. It is blank when browsed, but evaluates to a zero (not a Null either). There must be something different in the file since it displays as a blank in a normal browse as opposed to a '0'. I'm hopeing someone has written a function to test for this condition.
