Sorry to be dense, but I need a few more details with your hint to understand how this helps me import a graphic from an object within an excel workbook. Could you expand a little?

>>I can manually grab these objects with cut'n paste special and place them into general fields without trouble. The dialog allows me to copy the graphics as metafiles - which VFP seems to deal with in some native way (rather than associating them with the original app that created them). The manual method works well, and I'm able to create forms and reports that display the graphics as desired.

>>Using the VB editor help files, I've gleaned enough knowledge about excel objects to be able to find the Worksheet.OLEOBJECTs that I'm interested in, but I'm still not sure how to copy them to general fields, since the APPEND GENERAL doesn't seem rich enough to specify objects as the source of the append.
