Rod,

It seems to me that JVP had two choices here:
1) Straighten the issue out with Pinnacle, or
2) Inform (and possibly threaten) Grigore to get him to adjust his ways.

Now Grigore was told to go to Pinnacle, he did so, and he got the answer he was hoping for.

Possibly the respondent from Pinnacle was too brief in his reply and omitted some conditions that ought to have been included.

JVP can surely exert any right he wants, anytime he wants, but it would have been far more appropriate for him to have gone to Pinnacle, inform them of his concerns/rights, and ask/tell them to contact Grigore to "amend" their prior 'agreement'. After all, it was Pinnacle who, at least in JVP's eyes, failed to consider the issues fully in the first place.

Grigore went to the publisher itself. He got the permission he sought. JVP may never have even heard about it were it not for Grigore exposing the "deal" in the first place. In which case the world would have been a most happy place, a tad richer for having some good VFP stuff spread a little wider than it was perviously.

At this point the problem is clearly between JVP and Pinnacle. Maybe, once he's got his law degree, JVP will sue the hell out of Pinnacle. But if he tries to sue Grigore (even if he was in the States) he would lose for sure and I'm sure JVP knows that full well.

Regards,

Jim N

>Jeff,
> I don't understand your comment to John. Grigore answered John's reply in a very shitty manner and deserved to have this information pointed out to him in an very well spelled out manner.
