I think that page was for Windows MySQL to a Windows Access. I need to know how to connect a Linux MySQL to a Windows Access. Any more help would be great!!

Charity,

What have you all tried with the MyODBC setup? It looks like the ODBC setup allows you to shoose a machine IP and database name, and then you can use that ODBC DSN from Access to get data. Did you get errors when attempting this?

The MyODBC drivers can be had from www.mysql.com (might have to try one of the mirror sites for the download). The setup for the drivers installs a sample DSN where you can see where to enter host IP and database name.

I haven't played with this more than just looking at the ODBC side since I don't have a Linux box to play with here at work!

Good luck. If you get errors with the ODBC, post them here and maybe someone will know how to either tweak the ODBC DSN or the settings on the Linux box.
