Sorry if this has been covered before, but I picked up the September issue of MSDN mag yesterday, and it's a terrific round up of all the upcoming features in the .Net platform (it's actually the first of two issues on .Net). It's got a lot of detail, especially concerning the Common Language Runtime and the JIT compiler, and also intro.s C# and the improvements to the VS IDE, ASP+, and a lot of other stuff. After reading all of that, I've been wondering whether VFP will also be able to write MSIL for the CLR (MSDN mag. states only that VC++, VB, C#, and JScript will have this capabilty in VS). I looked around on the Web today and found nothing to indicate that VFP7 will have this capability (and I can't see how it would be VFP.Net without it). If it won't, wouldn't that leave VFP relatively out of the loop compared to the other tools in the VS package?
