It could also be a memory problem. On the rare occasions that we have seen this problem, that is what it has turned out to be. We also run internal security on certain systems and use the GETENV() function to get the uname but also give the user the ability to enter their userid if they wish. We are running Novell 3.x and 4.11, Fox 2.0 through VFP 3.
