You need to open the form, select the grid, open the property sheet, select the column you want by picking it in the dropdown of the property sheet at the top, then open the cbosrch.vcx in the forms control toolbar, click the control then click the column you want to put it in. Then set the appropriate properties for the column, currentcontrol, sparse, etc. That should do it.
