The program updates existing barcodes and adds new lines to the grid for new BCs. After 2 or 3 updates, the program continues to work, but the grid doesn't refresh. It neither adds new lines nor does it update existing lines. If I click on the grid, all the changes show at once.

Yep, there yet are improvements to make on the grid, nice as it is. Perhaps in vfp6?
