I did find a config.fpw file in this path 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\MSDN98\98VSa\1033\Samples\VFP98\Servers\Foxisapi\FoxIS'. It has a single line with 'screen=off' .... so it does not appear to be a config file causing this problem nor does it seem likely that this config file would be in effect on that path. The problem I have described just started occuring with my present configuration after I have been working successfully for many months without this config problem.
