I would highly recommend building new screens in VFP6. Reasons:
- you will take advantage of the new features of VFP
- you will learn VFP faster
- converted screens are a mess and almost impossible to work on

I converted my first project from Foxpro Dos 2.6 and it slowed down my learning of VFP by over 6 months because I kept programming the old 2.6 way.
