What's in your /etc/host and /etc/network and /etc/resolv.conf files?


>Here is the problem I have been trying to resolve. I have win98 and linux boxes on network. My win98 can ping linux. My win98 can http to linux. My linux can't ping self. Linux can ping localhost but not other ip address that win98 is pinging. This tells me I have set up linux network files incorrectly. Does this scenario sound familiar to anyone? Thanks.
