Well, I'll be testing the shutdown theory shortly (which is just about all I've got). And I agree about seeing that kind of call stack. That's why the title of this thread.

What worries me most, however, is "Frankenbach's Postulate": "Errors that go away by themselves have a habit of coming back by themselves."
