Hi Doug,

I don't think this is a bug. Rather, it is a feature which makes sense when you think about it.

It doesn't matter whether you type SET first or open all your tables and then type SET. When you are in the Data Session window you will not be able highlight each alias in the list simply by moving from one alias to the next with your cursor keys.

The highlighted alias is the currently SELECTed one. If you click on an alias that would indicate that you wish to select that one. However, simply moving from one to the next with the cursor keys will not SELECT that alias until you press the SPACEBAR when the focus is on that alias. This seems to makes sense because if you have a table at the top of the list SELECTed and you wish to move to the one at the bottom of the list there is no point in SELECTing each table that you move through on the way to the bottom one. Rather the focus moves through the list of tables until you reach the one you want at which point you would SELECT that table by pressing the SPACEBAR.

Make sense?

HTH
