My wife is happy again. It wasn't VFP, but the project itself that was corrupt. I determined that when I put it on another machine and it still wouldn't work. (I also inst/reinst on the 1st machine which didn't work)

I ended up Building a new project, populating the folders with files from the old project, adding them, and other than a couple of tricks with my classes, everything SEEMS fine.

Anyway, I've got my fingers crossed. Thanks for your help and advice.
