Yes, it should be set('printer',3) (I've just refreshed my memory by checking Help: SET

PRINTER, 1 FileName or PortName 
PRINTER, 2 Default Windows printer name 
PRINTER, 3 Default Visual FoxPro printer name
(specified in the Visual FoxPro Print or Print Setup dialog boxes) 

Ok, so you can set it to be Acrobat PDFWriter. Have you tried to print your report to this "printer" (e.g. produce PDF) directly opening your report (MODI REPORT yourReport)?
