If it's in a text file, is it still in a column?
If not, try APPEND MEMO.

I can do some energetic things using the text file, but it involves alot of record scanning and carrying variables around during the process, when really what I want to do is simply append the column of data from the worksheet into the memo field in the table. At this moment I'm just appending into a 254 length text field and replacing into the memo field, but that truncates anything longer. All the other columns with various types come through fine. I'm sure many of you have had similar problems during conversion and analysis projects and I would love to hear a simple, working solution for this.
