>Well, the Cubs are synonomous (sp?) with disappointment. Same here, despite growing up on the South Side, I've always been more of a Cub fan, but root for and watch the Sox when they're on WGN down here. I've been taking a razzing from my co-workers. We have five different front license plates (Cubs, Sox, Bears, Bulls, and Blackhawks) that we rotate depending on the season. One of the baseball teams gets the summer months and, this year, it happened to be the Sox. I usually talk about the Cubs this being a National League area, so now I'm being accused of being a "front runner" because of the front tag.< g >

Well, since I grew up in Michigan, the Tigers have a special place in my heart. I was sure sad to see old Tiger Stadium go down. When we moved to the Chicago area I never picked up a strong loyalty to either the Cubs or Sox. And once the Lions moved indoors, I became a diehard Bears fan. Of course It sure helped to have Da Coach and Da Bears in the late 80s!
