Write a stored procedure which will create a script to default all your numerics to 0 and all your chars to '' .

>Would I be correct to say that default constraint is still a field entry? What I was hopping for is a global data type default, where we could set up a default for character to be a ‘ ‘ or numeric and integers to be zeros… it’s a want / wish. It would defiantly simplify the table creation process.
