Hi Everyone,

I think this started happening after I loaded pcAnywhere 9.2 on Windows 2000 Pro.

My Web and FTP services won't start, here's 4 errors from the Event log that happen in this order when Win2k Pro starts up:

Source: Server

Description: The value named MaxMpxCt in the server's Registry key LanmanServer\Parameters was invalid. The value was ignored, and processing continued.
--------------
Source: W3SVC

Description:The service metabase path '/LM/W3SVC/' could not be opened. The data is the error code.

--------------
Source: Service Control Manager

Description: The World Wide Web Publishing Service service hung on starting.
--------------
Source: Service Control Manager

Description: The World Wide Web Publishing Service service terminated with the following error:

The system cannot find the path specified.
--------------

If I uninstall IIS, and reload it says that The Object already exists in the metabase and asks me to Write unencrypted, which obviously doesn't help. Same thing when I reload all of WIndows 2000.

Anyone know whats going on?
