While I'm doing the latter, I will try to clear up my statements
My VFP COM object does instantiate, I can call methods of the object.
When I call a method that creates an instance of an ADO Connection and an ADO Recordset the system seems to grind to a halt. The method I call is supposed to return a recordset with data from MS SQL 7. When I call the out of process server from a VFP prg I get the recordset. When I call the method from ASP - VBScript the server seems to lock up. This is why I am wondering if there is a security setup process that I need to do to access ADO from IIS-ASP.

Thanks again. I have many WROX books. ADO 2.1/Prof ASP 2.0/Prof XML/E-Commerce... they all have something I need. I just don't seem to be able to make my brain work on this problem.
