Hi david,

My reports are previewed with the help of another form.

- REPORT FORM (cReport) &cOptions NOCONSOLE WINDOW _Preview

Though the report is sizable, it does not resize when the preview is displayed. Since my prefered report writer is Crystal Reports I don't have many VFP reports to check on. However, when I encounter the issue again, I'll remember this and look of form resizing have anything to do with it.

Maybe it might be wise to report this minor error to the VFP team as I think the reportwriter in VFP 7 will not differ too much from what we have now.

Thanks, for sharing your observation.

Walter,

>Hi Walter - You won't believe it! Remember this issue? I nailed it! Or at least, I figured out how to get rid of it.

>My partner wrote a simple framework for this system, and as part of it, whenever the user resizes any form or pageframe, it automatically calls the resize method of each contained object. Before I run the form, I dump the ctrl-f10 into the keyboard buffer to automatically maximize the report. This calls the resize method for everything on the page from which I called the report. I don't know why, but by ensuring that the resize method doesn't fire as the report window is opening, I've eliminated the problem - or so it seems.
